Manassas National Battlefield Bull Run Hike
By HikingDonkey on 1/12/2007 10:08 AM

How about this great winter weather?  I will take my chances with global warming if we are going to have 70 degree days in January.  Anyway, because of all the great weather hiking is still fantastic in the Northern Virginia area.  If you are looking for a hike that is fun, easy to do, and can learn a lot of history, than the Manassas National Battlefield Bull Run Hike is for you.

The hike is not very long, it will only take a few hours.  Along the way there are different monuments and placards with historical information about the site.  If you are into wildlife and start the hike early enough you should see all kinds of animals on this hike.  Overall, if you are just trying to find a nice hike close to the D.C. area, the Manassas National Battlefield Bull Run Hike really fits this bill nicely.

Happy Hiking - HikingDonkey!
